And I want to spread the ideas to create a better world.
If you want to learn about…
- The Philosophy of Empathy.
Then I’m your guy. 🙂 Let’s create a better world. Together.
The short version…
I’m a husband, father, entrepreneur, tattooer, artist, designer, and geek. And I believe that creativity and empathy can make the world a better place.
So that’s what I want to teach. And I love to teach. Spreading ideas, to me, is more important than hoarding information.
I’m currently working on a Drawing Foundations Course and juggling family, tattooing, and my regular studies. It’s a struggle, but that’s part of my story.
The longer version.
I’m a family man first. My wife and kids are my world, and I do everything I do to both support them and pursue my dreams at the same time.
You’ll do whatever it takes if you want something bad enough.
About those dreams…
More than anything, I want to teach people. There are a few topics that have always interested me.
- Art. Art changes lives, and body art has an even bigger impact on the individual. I get to help people tell their stories on their skin. I can never be grateful enough for the clients that trust me with their body art. But I want to teach art, too.
- Creativity. Creativity is bigger than artistic expression, which is why I put it in its own category. Creativity is an invaluable skill for change. Thinking outside the box to come up with interesting solutions to interesting problems will make the world a better place.
- Philosophy. I discovered Stoicism after going through a particularly dark time in my life, and have been preaching the gospel of Marcus Aurelius ever since. I’ve recently been diving into more Eastern philosophy, and the parallels are fascinating. 🙂
For now, I’ll be focusing on the art side of things. I figure if I start with art (and sprinkle some creativity lessons and philosophy lessons as part of the art), I’ll be able to help people discover their own interests with one more skill as an outlet.
