Sometimes…you just need a fresh start. And that’s what I’ve decided to do with joshuagraphic.com
I’ve attempted building a business off of joshuagraphic for quite a while, now, and as a personal website…I just have way too many interests to pull off anything focused enough on this website.
So I’m going back to the beginning. I’ll use this platform as a place to write, a place to share my portfolio and my art, and…well…that’s pretty much it.
What about Drawing Foundations?
I’m glad you asked! Since I broke my hand, I haven’t been able to film or teach the way I want to be able to teach.
I’ve refunded everyone who purchased the course as its latest iteration, but I’ve saved your information and you will have access to the course again when I re-launch it on a more focused, dedicated platform for art and creativity.
When I’m able to get back to teaching (hopefully very soon if my occupational therapy continues as well as it has been), I will finish the course completely before I launch it. Then I’ll send out notifications to everyone who enrolled for free access.
Yes, it’s going to be a free course when it goes live again. It’s my way of apologizing for the hiccups and delays along the way. That, and I really want to teach as many people as possible how to draw well.
What’s in store next?
Well, joshuagraphic is going to be where I post my daily art, my random ramblings, and a hub for my other projects once they’ve been developed enough to release into the wild!
My interests range pretty broadly from art to business and philosophy. Art and business don’t play well together unless you’re a professional artist, so I’m developing two projects on those fronts.
Then, of course, there’s Affinity Art Co. I’m doing my best to delegate as much of that project to my business partners as possible, but the site needs updating as soon as possible, and that’s something only I can do at the moment.
For now — stay posted for updates. I’m pretty excited for the blank slate!
